U.S. Agent Plotter

Hey all!

I run about 4 characters over on ARFD on the DC side of things but really wanted to get my feet wet here. 

Why U.S. Agent? Well, he's an Avenger, he's a government operative, he's got a lot of personality conflicts with his fellow heroes, and there is just a lot of fun playing a jerk sometimes.


I'm open to play with any hero or villain, meta, mutant, or anything in between! 

Well hi! I'm so happy with the character you picked! Sorely under-used/loved, in my opinion.

I'm up for any threads! I haveeeee:

Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, who is splitting her time between being an Avenger (specifically the "Avengers Unity Division") and tackling problems in the world of magic.

Jean Grey is helming her own branch of X-Men stationed out of X-Lantis.

Christian Frost/White Queen is a newly instated member of Emma Frost's Hellfire Club's inner circle, helping further her agenda and maintain the Club(and Frost International)'s presence globally.

Daimon Hellstrom can turn up just about anywhere, but normally gravitates toward demonic threats/issues.

Cullen Bloodstone is a monster hunter who tends to find trouble wherever he goes, 50% out of bad luck, 50% out of earning it.

Namor is in a tricky place right now, preparing for war on a global scale with the surface world.

Lastly (for now), Jessica Jones is located in the NYC area working primarily as a PI, mother and member of The Defenders.

Any and all of them are available, if a specific idea (or ideas) hit you!

Well Wanda is one of the few Avengers that John actually got along with lol

Honestly even the most outlandish ones work for me since John's attitude is about protecting every day people from danger and also putting equal blame on the space/magic heroes for bringing that sort of danger and fighting those battles on Earth. So a Cullen and Hellstrom works equally as well.

I dunno, I love writing with you so pick someone you haven't gotten to play much and we'll make something happen

Welcome to the site Six! I'm really glad you've up and rejoined MFT; it's great to have you! I've really enjoyed writing with you on ARFD, so I'd love to throw some people at you here.

We already have our Jennifer/John thread (who I have now affectionately named 'the JWs'), so that's a positive start! In terms of other characters that might be of interest to you, or naturally rhyme well with John, I have:

• Black Widow - Natasha is in a very similar place to John now, honestly. Following the whole HYDRA debacle and her being believed dead, she's very much operating under the radar and without a 'team' at her back (akin to how John lost SHIELD.) They could, perhaps, end up investigating the same something and be pushed into co-operating? Or Natasha could seek John out for help, knowing he currently has few ties and thus be unlikely to blab about seeing Romanoff back in action? We could work toward a grumpier version of the Cap/Widow 'feel' from The Winter Soldier.
• Captain Marvel - Carol is currently trying to get the disbanded Alpha Flight back on its feet (the space station, not the Canadian super team!) and, in our canon, has proposed the title of 'Gamma Flight' for her new group. As she's very much in the 'rebuilding' stage, I definitely think John is the sort of person she'd invite to join. Like her, he has military experience, and thus is going to be useful protecting the world from whatever might threaten it. While Gamma Flight is also going to have a 'research' element, she'd definitely want some combat readiness on her side. They also have quite similar views: Carol's whole schtick in Civil War 2 was wanting to stop threats before they happen, with a rather Minority Report vibe, so John's mindset would align quite well with hers overall, even though she's softened her stance a little. • Shanna The She-Devil - Perhaps a strange choice, but I'm trying to get Shanna back from the Savage Lands and into the Avengers. She has so much potential as a character that I don't just want her to be sat in the Arctic, especially considering the 'situation' between her and Ka-Zar currently. They would, perhaps, just be a fun pair to throw together and see what happens - I'm open to ideas!
• Elsa Bloodstone - She's foul-mouthed, angry, British and likes shooting things. I don't think there's much more to say about this one...She and John would probably get along real well!

If you have any other ideas for any other characters, please do let me know! I'm always open to coming up with plots for any/all in my roster!

The JW's is a pairing I never I knew I wanted until now lol

Gamma Flight sounds like a great time! John will probably hate being on a space station but having a place to serve again will be a big help for him. I've gone ahead and posted on the team sign-up!

Black Widow and John could also conduct their investigation on the back end. Especially now with my Zemo app completed, Natasha would have Hydra to investigate again.
