All Brain: Octavia is a thinker over a fighter, while she is willing to head out into the field she has little means of defending herself physically, relying on gadgetry or backup. She also on occassion will end up blurting out her plans too soon.



Determination: One capacity that Octavia shares with mainstream Octavius is her desire to settle a grudge, having been willing to endanger herself to get revenge on the Electro collective that had ripped her from her home and family



Naive: Despite her brilliance Octavia can be naive about the realities she enters, as was the case when she mistook two actors filming a movie for real superheroes.

Subject History

Octavia Otto heralds from earth 1104, where many heroes and villains were reversed, in more ways than one. Good and evil, boy or girl, even first and last name. Octavia Otto was a member of her universe's Young Avengers, often fighting against the murderous supercriminal known as Parker Peters, aka Spidergirl. However her life was shaken up when a roaming band of multidimensional Electro crashed into her reality, holding Octavia's parents hostage unless she agreed to come with them.



Shoved into a collective think tank of captured Ocks to map out the dimensional pathways of the Web of Life, Octavia would see her chance for escape when Spidergwen and an alternate Ben Parker came to stop The Battery, the head of the Electro council. Helping the duo escape the rest of the more unfriendly Ocks, Octavia would join their alliance to defeat The Battery, inventing a helmet that could swap minds between two people, or fry a brain for good. Seeking to use this on The Battery, Octavia would get electrocuted and knocked out, leading to the group fleeing to regroup as they landed in a victorian era universe and trapped the Electro army within a dome of webbing. Eventually a final fight would break out, Octavia hopping between universes to assemble an army of spider heroes from across the multiverse to help save the day, where the Ben Parker she had come to know sadly sacrificed himself to bring the threat of The Battery to an end.



Deciding to stick around the Web Warriors team she had grown to know (Spidergwen, Spiderham, Mayday Parker, Spider UK, Spiderman Noir, Spider Punk, Spiderman India (Pavitr Prabhakar), and the former inheritor known as Karnak. Things would go stray however when the 616 Otto Octavius would accidentally unleash the Inheritors once more to feast upon spider-kind, Octavia aiding in their endeavors to stop the growing threat, losing her friends Karnak, Noir, and UK before managing to reduce the inheritors into infants alongside the help of her 616 counterpart, coming to respect and befriend him even if they don't quite agree with eachother. She returned to the pocket dimension the Web of Life resides in as her home base, often visited by her Web Warriors teammates. Although with the Web of Life being repaired, alongside her navigator and master of the web Karnak being gone, Octavia has decided to spend some time exploring and defending the reality that many an alternate spider has decided to call home.

Subject Interview

A lonesome sigh escaped as Octavia brushed a coating of dust off a layer of blueprints, to most it would seem like nothing more than a typical scribble of white lining against a cobalt background, To the multiversal genius however, they contained a flurry of emotions all clashing with each other for dominance within the young hero's heart. Pride welled up from the complexity of the layout, and that such a feat would be possible given a bit of elbow grease. Sorrow welled up as the focus shifted towards the four spiderlike limbs protruding from the design, her fingers gently brushing against the sketch's limbs as she thought of her friend Karnak, she had wanted to match his robotic chassis with this device....But now he would never see it. Lastly, Dread would bubble to the surface as she gazed at the harness as a whole. It seemed a rite of passage for any and all Octavius, or Otto in this case to build something like this. A robotic harness that gave the wearer command over artificial limbs. Yet...most of her kin had always used it for evil. Always taking that turn for the worse. If she built this....Would something cause her to follow the same path? She didn't quite believe in destiny, but there was an established pattern of cause and correlation. That was impossible to deny.



Taking another breath to steady herself, Octavia gently laid the blueprints back down into their dwelling, taking a seat and burying her face within her hands as she struggled against the emotional surge wracking within her. Someday. Someday. That word always made itself known whenever she braced for this. Every attempt at building the harness ended the same. Someday. It seemed that someday would never show up. But if she could still do good without it....Maybe that was enough.
