Beetle Suit: A high tech suit invented by The Fixer and Baron Zemo, It allows Janice to fly, stick to walls, and mild protection from firearms and other weaponry. The palms also have mini repulsers attached that allow her to unleash short range energy blasts that can be deadly at point blank range. It also enhances her strength to near superhuman levels.



Pistol: Matching the colors of her armor, Janice tends to carry around a laser pistol as a spare weapon in the case her repulsers aren't enough.



Bertha: When times are dire, Janice pulls out the Fixer's favorite Bazooka that she swindled in with her armor!

Subject History

Being the only child of the criminal powerhouse known as Tombstone, Janice was raised to be a crook from the very start. Be it robbing her classmates birthday parties, or doing her homework while her father brutalized rival goons in the background. None of this phased her however, it was merely the way life worked.



She began to idolize her father's lifestyle, and the glory of being a supervillain. Fearful of her safety however, he forbid her from being a supervillain, instead pushing her to be a defense lawyer as he still wanted her to be a ruthless crook, just not the super kind!



Janice went behind her dad's back however, consulting with The Fixer and Baron Zemo as she agreed to purchase their latest super suit, a new variation of the Beetle Armor formerly used by Abner Jenkins. Being unleashed with the orders to kill Captain America and Bucky, she succeeded in poisoning Bucky with a nanovirus by posing as a bartender, although was quickly defeated in her actual battle between the two and Black widow aiding them.



Once she excaped her imprisonment within The Raft, Janice joined up with Boomerang's new Sinister Six squad, however this all turned out to be a ruse in order to use them as bait to lure out crime lord The Owl so he could swoop in and steal the head of maggia leader Silvermane. Cornered by the Owl's forces alongside her team, Janice was forced to call her dad for an assist, having to reveal her secret supervillainy to her father upon rescue. It wasn't long after this that she was kidnapped and forced to participate in Kraven's big game hunt of animal themed heroes and villains in Central Park, being lucky enough to survive the encounter.



Later on she would be contacted by Scott Lang, seeking her help as part of a team of supervillains to break into Cross industries to save his daughter. Forming a relationship with the hero that resulted in a one night stand their neither completely hated. Though once Scott was arrested Janice led the prosecution against him, using her knowledge of the heist to nail down scott despite the best efforts of his avengers cohort Jennifer Walters. Seeking to get revenge on Scott for not calling while arrested, and seeking to get her own supply of Pym Particles, her vailiant effort nearly succeeded until Cross now dubbed Yellowjacket, bursted forth of the lab in Scott's helmet and attacked the courtroom, leading to the trial siding with Scott once the heroes had saved the day.



Seeking revenge on Boomerang, and to collect the bounty that Kingpin had placed upon him, Beetle sought out to form a team of supervillains that followed her own woman empowerment beliefs, forming a team called The Syndicate. This team consisted of Janice herself, Francine Frye, The Trapstr, Carolyn Trainer, Scorpia, and the White Rabbit. During her investigations on boomerang she'd have a fling with Robbie Robertson, son of a Daily Bugle repoter that was always trying to expose Tombstone's operation. Despite their parents objections the two remained together as Madame Masque and The Crime Master attempted to ransom Janice to take over Tombstone's empire, leading to the two rival parents and spiderman all joining forces to help save the couple as Janice landed the finishing blow on Madame Masque herself.

Subject Interview

"Look, can we just skip all the pointless chit chat and just put the money in the bag already. I've got a meeting this afternoon." Janet chastised the terrified bank employee before her, watching them bolt towards the vault in a blind panic.



rolling her eyes beneath her mask, Janet grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt, slamming the man's face into the recognition scanner until it opened up. Dropping the groaning employee to the floor, she quickly fluttered into the vault, filling as many duffle bags as she could with wads of cold hard cash.



So distracted was she, that she failed to notice a pair of security guards rush in behind her, guns drawn and ready.



"FREEZE!" They shouted in unison, electing a frustrated sigh from the supervillain.



"Oh come on! I'm going to be late as it is!" Janice whined, dodging the ensuing gunfire while kicking the first guard with enough force to tumble into his cohort, the duo tumbling out the door in a painful endeavor.



"......Well that was easy" Shrugged Beetle, humming to herself before a strange groaning sound resounded behind her.



"Eh? What's that racke-Oh nonononnonononononono!!!!!" Janice panicked, the impact having sent the vault door slamming back shut! Too late in her reaction, Beetle was left pounding on the ten ton seal in frustration.



"DAMNIT! Hey! Morons! Better let me out of here before I call my dad! He'll rip it off with his bare hands, and you with it!" No response. Probably unconscious. Damnit.



May as well kill some time as she waited for them to wake back up....Only for there to be one problem.



No cell reception.



"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-"
